Custom orders require a 4-6 week production period. We hand-make each piece according to your measurements and size specifications and this meticulous process takes time.
Bridal orders require 6 months in advance. We will do rush orders
but a 20% rush fee will be added.
We always ship as soon as the garment is done... so you may receive it sooner than the allotted time period.

MADE TO MEASURE
Made to measure typically refers to clothing that is sewn from a standard-sized base pattern. (A tailored suit is a common example of a made-to-measure garment.) The fit of a made-to-measure garment is expected to be superior to that of a ready-to-wear garment because ready-to-wear garments are constructed to fit the manufacturer’s definition of an average customer while made-to-measure garments are constructed to fit each customer individually.

Ordering a made-to-measure garment...the customer’s measurements are first gathered by a made-to-measure atelier
in the design studio (or from the measurements you send in-see above chart for instructions).
Then a personal base pattern is created that corresponds with the customer’s measurements.
The garment is constructed from this custom pattern.
The primary benefits to the customer of made-to-measure clothing are that the garments will be well-fitted to the customer’s body and the customer may have the opportunity to customize the fabric and detailing.
Your pattern will be kept on file for future orders along with your fabric and color preferences.
The Process
1.Your custom made gown starts with a private consultation with the designer.
2.After hearing your ideas and vision for your gown, the designer will draft designs that will complement your body and match your wedding style.
3.When you are absolutely happy with the design, materials are chosen and measurements are taken.
4. At your first fitting, the designer will present the unfinished version of your gown which will be adjusted and fitted to your liking.
5.Your gown slowly comes to life with additional fittings scheduled as needed.
6. Finally, the day of the final fitting will arrive. On that day, the gown will be complete with full trimming and any last adjustments will be made.
Each TropiCouture piece is hand-crafted in the TropiCouture Design Studio. We find it extremely important to maintain a superior level of quality while supporting America's fading garment industry. We stand strongly against exporting our goods to exploited...cheap laborers in far away countries and do all that we can to remain humane in this industry. We support fair trade sources. And eco friendly textile manufacturers.
AVAILABILITY
Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site... occasionally we do sell out of certain products. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered we will notify you via e-mail. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation.
RETURN POLICY:
Returns and exchanges are accepted on merchandise within 14 days of receipt only.
We will exchange items that are the INCORRECT SIZE...COLOR OR STYLE .
We will accept RETURN ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN WORN... ALTERED OR WASHED and have ALL tags attached.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
We use USPS and Federal Express for delivery and therefore are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses as well as P.O. Boxes.
